You're being asked to hand over things that have no second copy. Here's what we do about that.
Where it lives
Your archive is stored on managed cloud infrastructure in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up daily.
Who can see what
The Living Room, Kitchen and Attic are shared with the relatives you invite. A Bedroom is private to one person — not visible to other relatives, not visible to the household keeper. The only exception is an heir that the Bedroom's owner has chosen and deliberately activated.
Heirs
Any member can name up to two relatives who can unlock read-only access to their Bedroom — when they choose to give it, or after they're gone. Nothing is shared until it's activated by the owner.
The Block
Nothing from your house appears on the Block unless you deliberately post it there.
The Usher
Assistance is off by default. When it's on, it suggests and you confirm — it never decides. It will never speak as a member of your family, recreate a voice, or invent a memory. An archive keeps what was actually said, by the person who said it.
We don't train on your family
Your photographs, recordings and documents are never used to train AI models.
You can always leave with everything
Export is built in from the first day — photographs as image files, recordings as audio, transcripts and writing as documents. Open formats, no lock-in, no request form.
